Step out of the cold and step into your local travel agent

Swindon town centre travel agents offer a personal, friendly and stress-free holiday booking experience.

Thomas Cook has recently reported an encouraging start to trading for Summer 2018. Their Holiday and flight programme is now 34% sold, 3% higher than this time last year. Plus, several new destinations are now available, including Montenegro, Sardinia, Dubrovnik, Olympus Riviera in Greece, Golden Sands in Bulgaria, Spain’s Costa Brava and Madeira.

Now is time to start thinking about your summer holiday and take advantage of some of the early bookings discounts and special offers.

Don’t head online to book a holiday; there are a lot of advantages to booking a holiday on the high street which you wouldn’t receive online.

You may only have certain dates you can travel or have a fixed budget and want all the extra experiences. A high street travel agent will make your life a lot easier in finding your extra special holiday and help you with some of the decision makings.

Filling out online forms and reading the small print can be very confusing. Why not let a travel agent do all the hard work for you, whilst you sit back, relax and dream of distant shored?

Thomas Cook and TUI are located in the Swindon town centre and have been offering the visitors to the town centre a friendly service for over 20 years. They are leading experts in the travel industry and offer superb advice on destinations, brilliant packaged deals, flights and that all important personal touch.

March is the ideal time to book your holiday, not only does it give you something to look forward but there are some great deals to be had including free child places and complimentary upgrade!

Di Powell, inSwindon town centre Chief Executive said: “There are so many benefits to booking your holiday face to face on the high street. They will ask you about your likes and dislikes, your holiday priorities and so on.

We are proud to have two of the main high street travel agents located in the town centre and would encourage visitors to pop in and see the travel consultants before they book online.

There are always deals to be had and some of these are much better than what you can find online”.

Holidaymakers in 2018 are expected to try somewhere new, with over a quarter (27%) planning to visit a country they’ve never been to before and almost a third (32%) expecting to visit a new resort or city.

Package holidays remain the single most popular booking option for foreign holidays, with over half (51%) of people taking one in the past 12 months. One of the main reasons for choosing a package is because it provides ‘the best value option for price’, and 2018 should see this trend continue as people look for options where they can plan ahead on a fixed budget

2017 saw a surge in low-cost long-haul air travel, with a few carriers such as Norwegian Airlines, WOW Air and Eurowings ramping up their offering to compete with more established long-haul names. With flights from London to New York averaging around £200 return, and wider availability of new aircraft such as Boeing’s Dreamliner making longer journeys more attractive and comfortable, low-cost long-haul will be going mainstream in 2018.
