Reconciliation Administrator – Zurich Corporate Risk (Part-Time, Job-Share and Full-Time)
Location: Swindon

The opportunity:
As part of the exciting growth in Zurich Corporate Risk (ZCR), we are looking for a Reconciliation Administrator to come and join our team on a permanent basis. If you pride yourself in providing excellent customer service every day then this role could be for you!
Within our Financial Controls Team, you will work on ZCR’s Reconciliations, investigating and resolving differences in our financial reporting. You will develop strong relationships across the business as you identify issues, as well as potential training gaps, which will ensure we deliver the best customer service to our Brokers and Customers.In this role communication and quick learning is key, in turn you will get to experience working for a global, truly people centric organisation.
This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.

What will you be doing?

Monthly review and processing of ZCR’s 5 Reconciliations

Identifying anomalies and progress to resolution

Investigating outstanding items in a timely manner and to address any training, process changes required

Regular maintenance and reconciliation of Work Manager.

Ensuring that deadlines are met to achieve the Rag Rating “Green”

Working closely with all areas of the business, sharing knowledge and skills

Seeking ways to improve processes and to think “outside of the box” looking at the wider picture

Provide feedback and identifying route causes

Providing cover for team members across all 5 Reconciliation’s

Monthly reporting on the Reconciliations positions

Support the Monthly and Quarterly reporting to ZGEB’s for Captives and Pooling

Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.


    What are we looking for?

    Excellent coaching and training skills

    Must have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

    Excellent communication and influencing skills

    Excellent attention to detail, investigative and problem solving skills

    Ability to work under pressure due to tight deadlines

    A minimum of one year’s experience of the insurance industry/Financial Services and the legal and regulatory environment is preferable.

    Ability to effectively assess risk.

    A solutions and service orientation.

    Team player.

    Superior skills in relationship building, active listening, needs analysis and win-win negotiating.
