Oversee all UK Compliance COSMOS entries, developing a robust QA process to monitor the quality of the data submitted and challenge insightful reporting.
Provide expert training and ongoing guidance on COSMOS processes and usage to the department to enable the teams to build their own knowledge and capability.
Be the key point of contact for the Regional and Group Compliance teams who use COSMOS, fielding queries as appropriate and liaising with the Compliance Leadership team or other appropriate contacts to establish the correct response.
Provide support to the Assurance team in the data transfer of their assurance findings onto COSMOS thereafter being responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of them through to closure, using the Salesforce log as the source information.
Coordination of the updates to the UK Compliance plan by the Compliance Leadership team and ensure that the COSMOS version mirrors those updates.
Your skills and experience:
You will have excellent verbal and written skills and a strong attention to detail
Good communication, problem-solving, interpretation, decision-making and judgment skills are desirable as you will need to be able to work with some autonomy.
Experience in a Compliance or Governance related role within the Financial Services Industry would be an advantage but not essential
You will have a broad knowledge of the insurance and investment industry, the UK regulatory and governance framework. You will have an awareness of the FCA Handbook, PRA Rulebook and the Financial Services & Markets Act.
You will need to be aware of business drivers in order to help focus Compliance input appropriately and contribute to influencing/challenging Senior Management.
A leaning towards the use of technology would be an advantage.
