The date and time has officially been set for a debate in Parliament on the appointment of a Minister for Hospitality, Monday 11th January 2021, 4.30pm.
The welcomed news follows the positive response to a petition created by Claire Bosi, Editor, Chef & Restaurant Magazine on 9 October, asking that a Minister for Hospitality be created for the current, and successive governments.
Signatures for the petition currently stand at just over 156,000 and continues to grow. There is still time to sign the petition, you can find all the details here. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/552201
