Plans for retail to reopen in June

The Prime Minister Boris Johnson has confirmed timeline plans for all non-essential retail to reopen next month as soon as they are COVID-19 secure and can provide a safe environment for staff and consumers.

Outdoor markets and car showrooms will be the first to open on 1 June with all other non-essential retailers following on 15 June. All businesses must complete a risk assessment and show they have taken the necessary steps to become COVID-19 secure in line with the current Health & Safety legislation.
